Sanford E. Lavoy "Butch"

Sanford E. LaVoy "Butch", 72, of Willimantic, CT left this earth too soon on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.?He leaves behind his beloved wife "Marty" (Marrotte) LaVoy of 45 years, and his very cherished son, Scott LaVoy and his much-adored daughter-in-law, Emily LaVoy.?He was so looking forward to seeing his first grandchild in May 2017. "Butch" also leaves behind his sisters, Cynthia (Walter) Whittingslow and Marcia Marchesi, and many brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. "Butch" was predeceased by his parents, Velma (Atwood) LaVoy and Sanford LaVoy, Sr. "Butch" and "Marty" enjoyed going to Charlestown, RI Breechway beach for over 35 years. He was very active in his son's childhood activities: Little League Coach, Boy Scout Leader, and riding their ATVs.
