Samuel "Bob" R. Samson, Sr

Samuel "Bob" Robert Samson Sr., 60, of Willimantic, CT, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born July 20, 1955 to the late Armand & Luella Samson and lived in Willimantic most of his life. Bob was predeceased by a grandson Kristian Adamo and four brothers. He is survived by his wife Barbara Samson; two children, Robin Adamo and her husband Mark, Sam Samson Jr. and his wife Michelle; five grandchildren, Jazmyn, Anthony and Cierra Adamo, Hunter and Lincoln Samson; three brothers, Fernand, Richard and George Samson; a sister Jane Beaudry; as well as several nieces and nephews including George Samson Jr. and Jennifer White. Bob's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 2:00PM at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family.
