Ruth M. (Nolan) Dobush

Ruth M. (Nolan) Dobush, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, passed away from natural causes on Friday, October 20, 2017 at her home in Columbia, CT. Born January 29, 1924, in Willimantic, CT, the daughter of the late Richard Edward and Catherine (Meickle) Nolan. Ruth grew up in Willimantic and married Walter whose career had them living in New York, Ohio and back to Connecticut. They raised a wonderful family and enjoyed lakeside living with many lifelong friends. Ruth leaves a daughter, Christine Dobush of New York City, and two sons, James Dobush and his wife Terry of Danbury, CT, and Michael Dobush of Coventry, CT; grandchildren Brianne, Alexandra, Wyatt, and Gage, step grandchildren, Allen James (AJ), and Samantha Hall and nieces and nephews. Ruth is lovingly remembered for her wit, sense of humor, and appreciation of dessert. There are no calling hours.
