Ruth Hoyt, 94, of Windham, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2018. She was born in Harrison, Maine on June 15, 1924 to the late John and Hannah (Lamsa) Martikainen. Ruth is survived by her grandsons Jeffrey Hoyt and Scott (Lisa) Hoyt; great grandchildren Colleen and Corrie Hoyt; daughter-in-law, Sandy Hoyt. She is predeceased by her son Walter Hoyt and daughter Janice Bernard. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic with a burial Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 1pm at Murch Cemetery in Casco, Maine.
