Ruth (Feiler) Curtis

?Ruth A. (Feiler) Curtis, 85, of Union, CT, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Blair Manor in Enfield, CT. She was born on January 14, 1932, in Manchester, CT to the late Carl G. and Ethel (Palmer) Feiler. Ruth was a loving mother and devoted wife to her husband, the late Stephen R. Curtis, Sr., to whom she was married for 63 years. Nothing was more important to Ruth than the care of her family. Her love shall live on in the hearts of her two sons, Stephen R. Curtis, Jr. of Canterbury and Thomas A. Curtis of New Hampshire, as well as her sister-in-law, Emily J. Curtis of Union. She shall also be missed dearly by her two daughters-in-law, Vicki L. Curtis and Teresa M. Curtis, as well as her grandchildren, Emma R. Curtis and Vaughn L. Curtis. Perhaps missing her most shall be her close companion, Rupert Curtis, her beloved pug. Ruth?s family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00am to 11:00am, on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson Street (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT 06226.
