Russell L. Snyder

Russell L. Snyder, 80, of Willimantic, died Monday August 23, 2004 at the Windham Hospital. He was born June 4, 1924 in Mansfield, the son of George and Ann (Kolvek) Snyder and had lived in Mansfield most of his life. He owned and operated a tractor trailer and worked for many years for Nelson Brothers. He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Pearl and Leroy Sypher of Windham Center, 2 nieces, Bonnie Brookings and Debra Salcedo, 2 nephews, Marc and Karl Bishop and a sister-in-law, Patricia Snyder of Pittsburg, PA. He was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Gordon Bishop of Mystic and a brother, M. George Snyder of Pittsburg. Funeral services will be private with burial in the New Willimantic Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are through the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic.
