Russell Howard Schweitzer Jr., 77, of Willimantic, husband of Vivian (Godbout) Schweitzer, died Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in New Haven, CT, the son of the late Russell H. and Mabel Schweitzer. Russell worked for over 40 years as a truck driver. He enjoyed listening to country music, especially when he was driving truck. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Ronald Schweitzer; daughter Ellie and two step daughters, Sandra Bourque and Ann Marie Brochu and her husband Roger and a sister Corinne; three step grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Steve Schweitzer.
There are no calling hours. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
