Roy E. Garrison

Roy E. Garrison, 79, of Madison, husband of the late Mary (Stonerod) Garrison, died Monday Feb. 10, 2003 at the Middlesex Hospital, Middletown. He was born May 26, 1923 in Willimantic the son of David and Lucille (Hammond) Garrison. Roy was a W.W.2 Navy veteran and had retired from Cunningham Plumbing Supply in Old Saybrook where he had been employed for many years. He is survived by 5 sisters; Mildred Garrison of Willimantic, Vera Eremita of Chaplin, Lucille Insalaco of S. Carolina, June Nadile of Chaplin and Beth Cahill of Chaplin, 2 brothers; John and Lee Garrison both of Chaplin, and many nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by 2 brothers, William and Edward Garrison and a sister Marilyn Fitzgerald. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Funeral services and burial will be private. Please omit flowers.
