Rosie BajanthSingh, 90, of Mansfield, CT passed away on January 12, 2021 at Mansfield Center for Nursing. She was born to the late Alman-Jack Layne and Elemina Geddings in Trinidad. Rosie moved to the U.S. 35 years ago with her family. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, church, and Jesus. Rosie was known to everyone as Ma. She showed love in every aspect of her life and greeted everyone with a smile. Although she didn’t have a formal education, she accomplished a lot. Rosie is survived by her children Dee Leconche, Khris Ramoutar, Doy Singh, Kamla Hosein, Sourjan Singh of Florida, Danny Singh of Mansfield, Andy Singh of Willimantic, Shadee Dumas of Florida, Cerah Singh McCarthy of Florida, and Pamela Singh Tauber of Dallas Texas, and by the late Deonarine Singh of Yonkers NY, and Ramnarine Singh of Orlando Florida. She had 25 grand-children, and 32 great grand children. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 2:00-4:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic, CT 06226.
