Rosetta "Rose" M. Baron

Rosetta ?Rose? M. Baron, 88, of Willimantic, widow of Herve Joseph Baron, died Sunday April 16, 2017 at St. Joseph Living Center. She was born Nov. 14, 1928 in Montgomery, AL and resided on Pleasant View Ave. in Willimantic for many years. Rose had been employed in food services at the University of Connecticut. She volunteered at the Immaculata Retreat House and was the cook and housekeeper at St. Mary Rectory in Willimantic for many years. She is survived by two sons, Mark Baron of Willimantic and Jim Baron of Fort Lauderdale, FL. She adored her two grandsons, Curtis Baron of Manchester, CT and Kyle Baron of Wilmington, NC. Rose?s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday April 19, 2017 between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Thursday at 8:15 am prior to the procession to her 9:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Mary Church, 46 Valley St., Willimantic, with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
