Rosemary Bennett

Rosemary Bennett 74, of Old Willimantic Road, Columbia, CT, passed peacefully at Douglas Manor at 12:10 am on January 9, 2014, losing her battle with brain cancer. Rosemary was born on January 18, 1939 in Montpelier, Vermont. She grew up with two siblings, Patricia Swanson and Mike O'Brien. She moved to Hartford in 1958, then moved to Manchester where she met her husband Robert E. Bennett and moved to Columbia in 1981. Rosemary is survived by her husband Robert E. Bennett, son Sean Markey, daughter Debra Archambault, son Robert B. Bennett , step daughter Brenda Jones and step daughter Cheryl Small. She also is survived by her grandchildren, Amber Marie Archambault, Beth Durocher, Chris Small, Kyle Small, Crystal Small, Justin Small and Sean Small and many nephews and nieces. Rosemary was also known for loving to go out and eat and sitting on the front lawn in the summer. She was everyone's mom. She was also known for having a bubbly personality filling the room with joy. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 18, 2014 at 4:30pm at The First Congregational Church of Windham intersection of Rte.203 and Rte. 14 Windham Center, Connecticut.
