Rose Marie Salinsky

Rose M. Salinsky, 95, of Willimantic, passed away peacefully Monday March 5, 2012 at St. Joseph Living Center. She was born September 6, 1916 in Clearfield, PA the daughter of Helen (Sekash) and Jacob Gelak. Rose was predeceased by her husband Albert J. Salinsky. She is survived by her children Norma J. Johnson and her husband Ed of Windham, Joan M. Sypher and her husband Gary of Windham and her son Terry Salinsky and his fiance Carol Drouin of Coventry; 4 grandchildren, Adam Salinsky, Destiny Salinsky, Erika Blanchette and Tera Carpenter and also 10 great grandchildren. Rose was a loving Mom and Grandma and enjoyed her family. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 1724. There will be no calling hours. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church 99 Jackson St., Willimantic on Thursday at 10:00am with assembly at the church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
