Rose M. (Haddad) Rasicot, 71, of Willimantic, wife of Joseph Rasicot, died Monday Oct. 16, 2006 at Windham Hospital. She was born Sept. 21, 1935 in Willimantic, the daughter of the late James and Mary (Haddad) Haddad. Rose had been employed in the meat department at Shop Rite for twenty years, retiring twenty years ago. During her retirement, she devoted much of her time to her grandchildren. Rose was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, the Lebanese-American Club and the Friday Night Dinner Club. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Mark and Lisa of Willimantic and Joe and Denise of Lebanon; 4 siblings, Mildred Colter of CA., Isabelle Haddad and her husband Louis of Willimantic, Mooney Haddad and his wife Karen of Willimantic and Bill Haddad and his wife Mary Lou of Windham; 3 sisters in law, Pauline Haddad of Willimantic, Doris Mannix of Wolcott and Paulette Haddad of El Paso, TX.; 3 grandchildren, Blake, Emily and Marli and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by siblings George, Edmund, Mitchell, Alfred, Louis, Catherine Burski, Asper, Alexander, Edna Horan and Edward. Her family will receive friends at The First United Methodist Church, 29 Puddin La. Mansfield on Thursday Oct. 19th between 5:00 and 8:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the church on Friday Oct. 20th at 10:00am with interment following in New Willimantic Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
