Rose W. Olds

Rose W. Olds, 93, of Willimantic, widow of Willard Olds, died Monday January 31, 2005 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 15, 1911 in Gurleyville, the daughter of John and Mary (Ladr) Wrana and had lived in Willimantic most of her life. She was employed for many years by Southern New England Telephone Company as Chief Operator in Willimantic. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. John Wrana of Willimantic, a stepson, William Olds of Bloomfield, a stepdaughter, Mary Meikle of Cary, NC, 2 nephews, John Wrana Jr. and his wife Grace of North Windham, Richard Wrana of Columbia, 2 nieces, Nancy O Connor and her husband Donald of Scotland and Judy Wrana of Willimantic, many grand nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Storrs Cemetery, North Eagleville Rd., Storrs. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Hospice of Eastern CT, 34 Ledgebrook Dr., Mansfield Center, CT 06250 or a charity of the donor's choice.
