Rose Ruth Krukoff

April 8, 1926 — February 20, 2006

Rose Ruth Krukoff, 79, of Ashford, wife of the late William Krukoff, died Monday, February 20, 2006 in New Britain at Brittany Farm Health Care Center where she has lived since 2003. She and William were married in 1947 and operated a dairy farm in Ashford from 1947 to 1974. Prior to her retirement she was employed for many years as a secretary at the University of Connecticut, Department of Agriculture. She was an active member of the United Baptist Church of Ashford and liked flowers, antique shops, flea markets and vegetable gardening. She is survived by a brother, Edward Soja of Mansfield, a sister, Frances Beatrice of New Britain, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Julius Soja. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 23, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic. Burial will follow in the Westford Hill Cemetery.
