Rose Marie Mary Tremarco Fowler, 72, of Lebanon, CT - formerly of Coventry, passed to a better place on Friday, August 8 after suffering a massive stroke. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother Danton. Rosie is survived by her husband of 51 years Joseph; daughter Katherine; son Sean and his wife Kris and son DJ and his wife Dr. Wendy Ernst; grandchildren Madison and Maisey Fowler Hofmann, Zebulan, Zane, and Izzy Kazmarski Fowler. Born Nov. 21, 1941 in Yonkers, New York to Patrick and Margaret (Corbisier) Tremarco, she lived her entire life in CT. She married her husband Joseph on August 3, 1963 and raised three children in Coventry. Rose graduated from Manchester High School in 1959, Plymouth State Teacher's College in 1964 and received a Masters of Divinity from Hartford Seminary in 1993. She has been a teacher, a real estate agent, a package store owner, an administrator for the Mansfield Board of Education, inn keeper of the MillBrook Farm Bed & Breakfast, and the Executive Director of McSweeney Senior Center when she retired in 2008. Rose and Joe were most recently the proud owners and proprietors of the Coventry Country Store until really retiring in 2011. She loved the Boston Red Sox and UCONN Husky Basketball. She loved to garden and putz around in the flowers. She loved to read, play cards, and watch the birds. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren, she loved her friends and she loved her community. It's been said that there hasn't been a committee, commission or organization that didn't have Rose's name on it. She loved volunteering her time and meeting so many wonderful people. She loved. A memorial service celebrating Rose's life will be held Sunday, Aug. 17th at 2 pm in the First Congregational Church Main Street Coventry.
