Rose Crawford

Rose Crawford, 84, of Willimantic died Friday morning at Roncalli Health Care Center in Willimantic. She was born February 12, 1918 in Willimantic and was a lifelong resident. She was the mother of one son, Stanley Crawford and three daughters, Rhoda Milhomme, Trudie Bartlett and Lillian Robinson, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley Crawford. She was a Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader, a former president of the PTA and a deaconess of the First Baptist Church of Willimantic. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 pm in the New Willimantic Cemetery, Rte. 32 at Rte. 6, Willimantic. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Willimantic, 667 Main St. Willimantic, CT 06226.
