Rose Marie Clarke

Rose Marie (Chalifoux) Clarke, 73, widow of Leslie P. Clarke Jr., died Tuesday Aug. 23, 2005 at Haven Health Center, Willimantic. She was born Aug. 30, 1931 in Willimantic the daughter of the late Wilfred and Emily (Kollar) Chalifoux. She retired from Brand Rex in 1992 after many years of service. Rose Marie was a member of the First Congregational Church of Lebanon. She is survived by her daughter Lee-Anne Clarke and her significant other Gary Wetherbee of Coventry, 4 sisters, Ethel Fontaine and her husband Armand of Taftville, Evelyn Dzialo of Lebanon, May Porter of Colchester and Nancy Godere and her husband Thomas of Lebanon; 2 brothers, Robert Chalifoux and his wife Sandra and Richard Chalifoux and his wife Rose of Lebanon; sister in law Rene Chalifoux of Lebanon, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Stephanie Clarke and 2 brothers, Wilfred and Francis Chalifoux. There will be no calling hours. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:30pm at the First Congregational of Lebanon with the Rev. Sharon Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow in the New Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to the First Congregational Church of Lebanon, or to the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Dept., Lebanon, CT. 06249.
