Rose Alma Brochu

Rose Alma Brochu, 98, of Chaplin, wife of the late Louis Brochu, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at home. She was born July 21, 1909 in Tedford Mines, Canada and had lived in Willimantic for many years. She and her husband enjoyed 40 years in Miami and Key West, Florida before returning to Chaplin in 2003. She is survived by two children, Ronald Brochu and Doris Garrison, both of Chaplin, four grandchildren, Douglas Brochu, Judith Tumel, Bruce Garrison and Roy Garrison, five great grandchildren, Aaron Tumel, Karie Johns, Brett Garrison, Greg Garrison and Sarah Garrison, two great, great grandchildren, Jordon Johns and Megan Johns. A private Funeral Mass was held with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. The Potter Funeral Home, Willimantic was in charge of arrangements.
