Rose H. Aubin

Rose H. Aubin, 102, formerly of Hope St. Willimantic, died Thursday Aug. 1, 2002 at St. Joseph Living Center. She was born June 28, 1900 in Willimantic the daughter of Joseph A. and Roseanna (Marcil) Aubin. She had been employed by several clothing stores in Willimantic including Cohen & Rothblatt and W.T. Grant. Rose was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary's Church and a longtime volunteer at the Immaculata Retreat House. She is survived by a brother Gerard Aubin of Willimantic, a sister Theresa Cox of Winsted and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 brothers; Joseph, Donat and Ephrem and 3 sisters; Anna Champagne, Emma Petit and Germaine Aubin. There will be a gathering at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Monday at 10:15am prior to the procession to her 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, Valley St. Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to St. Mary's Church Repair Fund, 80 Maple Ave. Willimantic,Ct. 06226.
