Rosaria "Sadie" (Spataro) Risley

Rosaria ?Sadie? Risley, 88, of Willimantic, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Douglas Manor in Windham. She was the wife of the late Robert Risley for 57 years. Rosaria was born October 25, 1929 in Manhattan, New York, the daughter of the late Corrado and Concetta (Piccirillo) Spataro Sr. She was an advent Red Sox Fan, and enjoyed reading the local newspapers, crocheting, and doing crossword puzzles. Rosaria is best known for her loving kindness and making of her spaghetti sauce. Rosaria is survived by three daughters, Linda (Danny) Haggerty, Barbara (David) Ritchie, and Susan (Greg) MacWay, as well as her five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers and one sister. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be conducted at St. Joseph?s Cemetery in Windham on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 11:30am.
