Rosalee N. Botham, 86, formerly of Clinton, died Friday July 23, 2004 in Little River, S.C. She was born April 5, 1918 in Brooklyn, N.Y. the daughter of the late Arthur and Rita (Clay) Gude. Rosalee retired from the Norwich State Hospital as an LPN and had donated years of work to the Estuary Council of Senior Club Inc. She was predeceased by her husband Leon E. Botham and is survived by 2 sons, Douglas Botham of Merrimack, N.H. and Leon Botham of Simsbury; 3 daughters, Almarita Harrington of Bolivia, N.C., Alberta Doxsee of Clinton and Theresa Parker of Northboro, MA.; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Jeanne Taysom of Tempe, AZ. and Jannette Mereski of Savannah, GA.; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Wednesday July 28, 2004 at 11:00am. Burial will follow in the New Willimantic Cemetery.
