Rosaire S. Lehoux, 93, of Willimantic, fell into eternal slumber on July 2, 2013 at Windham Hospital. Rosaire was born March 25, 1920 in Quebec, Canada. He moved to the United States in May of 1956. He is survived by five sons and a daughter; Ernest and Janice Lehoux of Plainfield, Cecile Lehoux and partner William Postler of North Franklin, Normand and Melody Lehoux of North Windham, Robert and Karen Lehoux and Paul and LeCheryl Lehoux of Sunrise, FL and Randy and Stacey Lehoux of Cromwell. Rosaire was predeceased by his first wife, Alberta and his second wife, Wanda Lehoux and his son, Marcel. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and twenty one great grandchildren, a brother Lionel Lehoux of Manchester, NH and a sister Theresa Gagnon of Willimantic. Rosaire was a member of the Bristol Fiddler Club and also the Rhode Island Fiddler Club where he was an active member. He cherished his moments playing his Canadian music for his children and friends. Dad, you will always be part of our lives and we will remember the love you shared with us through the years. You will forever be in our thoughts and our hearts. His family will receive relatives and friends on Friday July 5, 2013 between 6:00 and 8:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic with Rev. Roger Lamoureux officiating. Please assemble in the church parking area at 9:45am. Interment will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon.
