Rosa Esponda

Rosa Esponda, 80, of Beacon Rd., Windham, loving wife of Pedro Esponda, died Thursday morning April 1, 2004 at home. She was born June 26, 1923 in Puerto Rico. Rosa was a great wife, proud mother and loving grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 9 children; Julio Esponda, Hector Esponda, Rosemary Esponda, Roberto Esponda, Esthel M. Davila, Carmen Esponda, Pedro Esponda Jr., Anthony Esponda and Ramon Esponda, 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Pedro Esponda Jr. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00pm. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Monday at 9:15am prior to her 10:00am Funeral Mass at Iglesia Sagrado Corazon de Jesus, Club Rd., Windham.
