Ronald A. Squires, 53, of Coventry, died suddenly on Sunday October 17, 2004 at Hartford Hospital. He was born September 8, 1951 in Willimantic, the son of Margaret (Clough) Harrington and the late Ernest Squires. He was employed by Sadlack Innovative Designs of Coventry. Ronald was devoted to his family. He was a giving man who was known to help anyone at anytime and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Earl Nye of Columbia, a son, Curt Squires and his companion Lisa Madden of Rockville, his former wife, Elaine (Lacroix) Squires of Danielson, 8 siblings, Ernest Squires and his wife Lynn of Thomaston, ME, Sandra Leino and her husband James of Rockland, ME, Diana Stewart and her companion Buzzy of Ellington, Gail McKinney and her husband Michael of Stafford Springs, William Harrington and his wife Tori of New Market, NH, Raymond Harrington and his wife Christina of Grand Forks, ND, Lisa Fuller and her husband James of Stafford Springs, Donna Shields and her husband Michael of Greenville, SC, 6 grandchildren, Kaylee, Tyler and Brandon Nye, Ian Shaw, Patrick Madden, Kyle Squires, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 21, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private in Maine. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, 2550 US Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902-4301.
