Ronald D. Nieves

Ronald D. Nieves, of Windham, loving son, husband, and father, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 29th at the age of 47 after a most courageous two and a half year battle with cancer. Born on December 5, 1970, he is the son of the late Juanita "Lola" Davila; fathers, Ramon "Chito" Ortiz and Juan Enrique Nieves-Ayala. He owned his own business called "Ron's Do It All". Prior to that he worked at United Abrasives. Ronald always had a smile on his face and lit up every room he entered. Ronald, aka "Mr B", had a nickname for everyone he knew, and everyone was family to him. His passions were fast cars, motorcycles, fishing and his family. He leaves behind his wife and best friend Michelle; daughters, Crystal, Makayla, Kayleen and Jazmin; sister, Heidi as well as several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and in-laws. Ronald is predeceased by his father and brother Enrique. He will be remembered by family and friends as humorous,?loving, giving, and the life of every party. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte.195) Willimantic. A Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Friday, April 6, 2018 at Potter Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the New Willimantic Cemetery.
