Ronald Robert Lachappelle

Ronald Robert LaChappelle, 62, of Windham, husband of Joyce (Barr) LaChappelle, died Wednesday Oct. 12, 2011 at Windham Hospital. He was born Dec. 19, 1948 in Willimantic , son of the late Robert and Lorraine (Godin) LaChappelle. Ronald had been employed by Noel's Welding in Willimantic for twenty five years and then at Windham Hospital as a groundskeeper. He enjoyed gardening and working in the outdoors. In addition to his wife Joyce, he is survived by a son Rick Merriam of TX, a sister Linda Bull of SC, a stepbrother James LaChappelle and a stepsister Roberta Cardinal both of Chaplin. There are no calling hours. Services will be private with interment in Windham Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to American Diabetes Association P.O.
