Ronald John Kuchinsky, 55, of Manchester, died Monday September 23, 2002 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born September 5, 1947 in Stafford, the son of Irma (Alapi) Kuchinsky of Ashford and the late John Kuchinsky. He grew up in Ashford and had lived in Manchester for the past 20 years. Ronald was a graduate of E. O. Smith High School in Storrs, he then volunteered for the Peace Corps, serving in India. After coming home from India he attended the Pittsburgh Gunsmith School in Pennsylvania, joined the Army and served with the K-9 Military Police in Korea. He has been employed for many years at Dynamic Gunver Technologies in Manchester. In addition to his mother he is survived by a sister, Sherilyn Kuchinsky Kellogg of Columbia, a niece, Shannon Marie Slate of Tampa, FL and many cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Burial with military honors will follow in the Woodward Cemetery, Ashford.
