Roland "The Duke" Duclos Obituary
Roland J. Duclos “The Duke”, 81, of Willimantic, CT died on June 21, 2020. He was born in Windham, CT to the late Bella (Landry) and Alfred Duclos. The Duke retired from Pratt Whitney after 44 years. His retired years were spent with friends especially in the morning. He loved to give “free advice” and at the same time crack a joke that one is not expected to hear. Will miss you dad. Roland is survived by his son, Jim and his fiancé Mary Bingham; daughter Marianne Ouimette and her husband Jacques; grandchildren Bruce Holt and Jacques Ouimette; great-grandchildren Marissa Gardener, Kayla and Arabella Holt. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Carolee; grandson Tyler Lucey; and brother Norman Duclos. Roland’s graveside service will be Friday, June 26 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Cemetery 134 Club Rd. Willimantic, CT 06226.
