Roger Bromley Miner Jr. of Mansfield, passed away on Saturday June 8, 2013 at the age of 77. He was born on November 14, 1935 in Willimantic, the son of the late Roger Bromley Miner Sr. and June Wheeler. He is survived by his wife Theresa (Bonin) Miner, two daughters, Joanne Potter and her husband Ray and Jennifer Thompson and her husband Rich; four grandchildren, Samantha and Matthew Thompson and James and Cassidy Potter. He is also survived by a sister Kay Miner Howard and an uncle Rowe Wheeler. Roger was predeceased by a brother David Miner. From 1964 to 1979, Roger was the owner of Miner Motors Inc. in Willimantic. He worked in the automotive industry from age 16 until his retirement at the age of 71. He was a member of the National Rifle Assoc. and the Windham Fish and Game Club. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday June 11, 2013 at 11:30am in St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Rd., Windham. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
