Roger Henry

Roger K. Henry Sr., 73, of Hampton died Wednesday October 6, 2010. He was born July 12, 1937 in Berlin, NH, son of John and Minnie ( Gould) Henry ( both predeceased) and had lived in Windham County for most of his life. He is predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Sandra ( Burr) Henry. He is survived by his two children Kreeta ( Henry) Knapp and her husband Mark of Willimantic, Roger K Henry Jr and his wife Lori of Manchester, two sisters and one brother, Muriel ( Henry) Grover and her husband Ken of Danville, Maine, Lois (Henry) Chamberlain and her husband Don of N.Turner, Maine, Richard Henry and his wife Judy of Oxford, Maine, eight grandchildren, Mark Knapp Jr and his wife Kim, Eric Knapp and his wife Kaitlyn, Kevin Knapp, Kristina Knapp, Roger Henry III, Elizabeth Henry, Peter Henry and Kimberly Henry, a great granddaughter, Makenna Knapp, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Henry of Gray, Maine and John Henry of Port Richey, Florida. A memorial service will be held Sunday October 17, 2010 at 1:00pm at the First Congregational Church of South Windham, 361 South Windham Rd., South Windham with a reception to follow. A burial will be held in Gray, Maine on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11:00am at the Gray Village Cemetery. The Potter Funeral Home of WiIlimantic assisted with arrangements.
