Robert Wirzbicki

Robert Wirzbicki, 67, of Franklin, husband of Pauline (Gagnier) Wirzbicki, died Sunday October 24, 2004 at W. W. Backus Hospital in Norwich. He was born December 19, 1936 in Austin, Texas, the son of Louis and Florine (Pietrowski) Wirzbicki. He retired after 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam veteran. He also retired from Stop & Shop in Waterford after many years employment. In addition to his wife he is survived by a brother Grady Wierzbicki and his wife of West Virginia, a sister-in-law Lucille Rose and her husband Raymond of New Bedford, MA, 3 nephews and 4 nieces, Jean Marie Shelton of Kosse, TX, Frank Wierzbicki of Raleigh, NC, Greg Wierzbicki of Dayton, OH, Steven Gould and his wife Lisa of Lebanon, Christine Gould of New Bedford, Sharon Beebe of Coventry and Karen Beebe of Providence. A memorial service will be Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic.
