Robert Trainor Obituary
Robert E. Trainor, 87, of North Windham, CT passed away on December 17, 2022. He was born in Willimantic, CT, son of the late Frank and Mary (Montigue) Trainor.
Robert enjoyed his Wednesday afternoon poker pals.
He is survived by his sons Mark Trainor and Michael Trainor and his wife Sherri, sister Joyce Crosby, sister-in-law Maureen Mullin, grandchildren Ryan Trainor and Amanda Howell and her husband Ethan, great grandchildren Ames, Jolie, and Waylon Howell, many nieces and nephews, “adopted” daughters Tracey and Diane, lifelong friends Butch Adams, Jack Lester, and Bob and Astrid Belanger, and the many neighbors of Stonegate Manor who became great friends. He was predeceased by his wife Joan (Fitzgerald) Trainor and brothers Frank and Raymond Trainor.
There are no calling hours. Robert will be buried next to his wife on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 11:00am at West St. Cemetery on Lake Rd. in Columbia, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society
