Robert I. Tedford

Robert I. Tedford, 63, of Wildwood Rd., Storrs, died Tuesday July 1, 2003 at the Windham Hospital. He was born Dec. 23, 1939 in Manchester the son of the late Wilbert and Blanche (Vesley) Tedford. He had been employed by Milton C. Beebe & Sons in Mansfield for over 30 years. Robert was an avid UConn Basketball fan and enjoyed trains, model trains and gardening. He is survived by 2 daughters; Sandra White of Mansfield and Shannon Tedford of N. Windham, 2 sons; Allen of Chaplin and Brian of Manchester, his companion of many years, Natalie (Beebe) Jurkovics and her daughter Cara Theriault and Cara's son Joshua Theriault. He is also survived by a brother Bruce of Hephzibah, GA., 3 sisters; Sylvia Poirier of Willington, Sharon Ismay of Laguna Niquel, CA. and Blanche Nadeau of Maybrook, N.Y., 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Roger. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic TODAY from 7:00 to 9:00pm. His funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:00pm at the funeral home, with burial following in the Storrs Cemetery.
