Robert "Bobo" Shibenski, 76, of Lebanon, died Monday, May 17, 2010 at his home. He was born June 4, 1933 in Lebanon, the son of Tony and Lillian (Edwards) Shibenski and had lived in Lebanon all his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Bo-Bo was employed for many years at the Bartizek Dairy Farm, Franklin Farms Mushroom factory and most recently at Pride's Corner Farm. He is survived by three sisters, Amelia Simoneau and George of Lisbon, Donna Nichols of Windham, Loretta Ausburger and David of Columbia, two brothers, Anthony Shibenski and Patricia of Willimantic, William Rioux and Sharon of Columbia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews including three special nieces Leslie, Hannah and Shaina, an aunt, Isabelle Brisson of Canterbury, many cousins including special cousin Stephen Rinn and Joyce of Lebanon and countless friends. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in the New Lebanon Cemetery, Waterman Rd., Lebanon.
