Robert Rosebrooks

Robert Rosebrooks age 98 died on May 24th at Douglas Manor. He was born in Lebanon, Connecticut June 13, 1916 and lived in Willimantic all his life. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater and in the Far East Theater during the Korean War. Prior to and following his military service, he was employed by the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford for 38 years, until his retirement. He was a lifetime member and deacon of the First Congregational Church in Willimantic. Prior to his death, he was a 22 year resident of the Card Home for the Aged in Willimantic. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, May 28, 2015 in the New Willimantic Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to the Card Home 154 Pleasant Street Willimantic.
