Robert Leo Prue, died suddenly November 18th, 2013. He was born in the Bronx, New York on June 10th 1952. He graduated from The Holy Family Academy, then attended a local college in the Bronx. He later moved to Connecticut to start his family. He co-owned MD Package store in South Windham for many years. He later worked at Foxwoods for several years, before beginning work at Mohegan Sun, where he worked for 16 years. He was a wonderful, kindhearted man who always wanted to please others. The depth of his love was an inspiration to us all. He was loved by everyone and will live on forever in our hearts. Even in death, he was selfless enough to donate his body through the Life Choice program. He has provided his eyes for two people to be granted the gift of sight. His skin will be used to repair damage to burn victims, and his bone marrow will be used in transplants. He is survived by his mother Mary and her twin sister Aunt Gloria; his brother John; his numerous extended family in New York; his former wife Tove and his two sons AJ and Jonathan as well as his current wife Bella. All are welcome to celebrate his life at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Friday November 22nd, 2013. Visitation begins at 1:30 PM, with a service at 2:30 PM.
