Robert M. Murphy, 47, of Coventry, husband of Norma (Pulk) Murphy, died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at his home. He was born November 25, 1962 in Framingham, MA, the son of Mary (Capuzziello) Murphy of Milford, MA and the late John R. Murphy and had lived in Coventry for the last 16 years. He was an accomplished musician, playing the saxophone, drums and bass guitar. Bob was a member of the Still Cruisin Band. He was a wonderful man who leaves many friends behind. In addition to his mother and his wife and best friend, he is survived by two sisters, Donna Kilroy of Cumberland, RI and Paula Cross of Virginia, his mother and father-in-law, Curtis and Janice Pulk of Windham, several nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
