Robert Earl Loree

Robert E. Loree, 82, of Willimantic, husband of the late Catherine (Scarpello) Loree, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at the Windham Hospital. He was born December 13, 1924 in Willimantic, the son of Lloyd and Irene (Stone) Loree, had lived in Willimantic all his life and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his son, Charles Loree and his wife Sharon of Storrs, a daughter, Roberta Frazier of Chaplin, five grandchildren, Dane, Connor and Alexa Loree, Richard and Aaron Frazier, three brothers, David, William and Francis, a sister, Betty, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his sister, Shirley. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
