Robert Lester Langworthy, 82, Retired United States Navy Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman, Vietnam Combat Veteran, husband, father and grandfather, died Wednesday evening, May 19th, 2021 at Windham Hospital. He leaves his loving wife of 13 years, Marie Langworthy, and his children, Jason and David Langworthy, David’s wife, Catherine and her family and is also survived by his three grandchildren, Tyler, Cory and Nicholas Langworthy, whom he commonly referred to as LSD’s (Labor Saving Devices). Additional survivors include his Aunt Maggie Easton, Cousin Judy McCain, and many other loved family members and friends. His funeral ceremony will be celebrated at St. Joseph Cemetery, at 134 Club Rd, Willimantic CT, 06226 on Thursday, May 27th at 10:00 a.m. where his late wife, Carolyn Miller Langworthy, was laid to rest in 2007.
