Robert A. Hanna Jr., 81, of Silver Springs, Florida, formerly of Willimantic, died Sunday April 25, 2004 in Florida. He was born Nov. 3, 1922 in Willimantic the son of the late Robert Hanna Sr. and Jennie Hanna. He was a retired musician who was well known for playing the clarinet in various bands he organized over the years. Mr. Hanna was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II and a member of the Willimantic Congregational Church. He is survived by 2 daughters, Nancy Parsells and Kathleen Naranjo, both of Ocala, Florida, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews in the Willimantic area. He was predeceased by 4 sisters; Ethel Wright, Eleanor Moseley, Thelma Anthony and Betty Lou Moseley. A graveside service with military honors will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the New Willimantic Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
