Robert G. Elliott

Robert G. Elliott Sr., 74, of Willimantic, CT husband of Nancy (Benzinger) Elliott, died Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Douglas Manor. He was born June 23, 1942 in Willimantic, the son of the late George and Marie (Morin) Elliott. Bob was a lifelong resident of Willimantic. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Tina Elliott Jones and husband Scott, a son Robert G. Elliott Jr. and wife Patricia. Two grandchildren Robert G. Elliott III and Anna A. Elliott. Three sisters Janet Matassa, Evelyn Menzone, Edith Baronousky,?8 sister-in-laws, 3 brother-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Bob enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing cards with family on a Saturday night, Boston Red Sox, and Sunday drives. The family is grateful for the staff at Douglas Manor for the care which was given to Bob. There are no calling hours. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, November 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Road, N. Windham, CT.
