Robert Brassington Obituary
Robert E. Brassington, 86, of Juniper Hill Village, beloved husband of Patricia (Leitch) Brassington, passed into eternal rest at Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation on April 14, 2020. He was born in Bronx, NY to the late William and Ena (Lyder) Brassington on October 2, 1933. After high school, Robert served for four years in the US Navy as a communications expert. After his service, he returned to the Bronx and worked at IBM in Times Square, NY. He was married to his wife for 56 years. Robert attended PACE College in Pleasantville, NY to follow his dream of becoming a computer analyst. After college, he worked for several Westchester County and NYC companies as an analyst. He retired in 1993.
Robert is survived by a daughter and a son, Cindi Brassington of Willington, CT and Joseph Brassington of Madison, CT; four grandchildren, Sadie Hartell of Northford, CT, Hannah Marona of Miami, FL and Carter Brassington and Sean Brassington, both of Madison CT.
Services will be private at the request of the family.
