Robert “Scott” Brandon, 74, of Storrs, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Scott was born in Norwich, Connecticut on February 28, 1951, to the late Anatole and Vivian Brandon. Scott spent his early childhood in Macon, Georgia, then relocated to Willimantic, Connecticut. He worked for many years at Roger’s Corporation in South Windham and later for the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. In 2022 he retired from the DEEP, where he was a friend and mentor to many.

Scott leaves his beloved wife Cindy Witek-Brandon, daughter Kelsey, and her partner Charlie Dalton of Newmarket, New Hampshire, his sister Alice LaVigne (Bruce), of Chattanooga, Tennessee, brother Jon (Linda) of Scotland, Connecticut, and best friend Steve (Audrey) Conrad of Ashford, Connecticut. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was a member of Saint Joseph’s Church of Willimantic.

Scott will always be remembered for his generosity with his time and energy, his willingness to help anyone and everyone, and his wonderful sense of humor. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Red Cross in Scott’s name, to honor his legacy as a lifetime blood donor.  A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 10:30am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St., Willimantic.
