Robert Bellerose Obituary
Robert D. Bellerose, 83, of Chaplin, CT passed away on January 8, 2023. He was born on August 30, 1939 in Willimantic, CT, the son of the late Roland J. and Marjorie (VonDeck) Bellerose.
Robert was a life-long resident of Chaplin. He graduated from Windham High School, Class of 1957. After high school, Robert worked at Brand Rex for two years before he joined the US Navy and was stationed in Scotland. While in the military Robert met the love of his life, Rochelle Simone Harley. Upon leaving the Navy after six years of service, he went back to work for Brand Rex for 40 years. He enjoyed boating and deep-sea fishing, traveling to Maine, and raising the animals on his farm.
He is survived by his son Stephen Bellerose of Willimantic, granddaughter Stephanie Bellerose of Willimantic, and a great grandson Bentley Paul Quick of Willimantic.
Robert was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Rochelle Bellerose.
