Robert Arthur Balcom

Robert A. Balcom, of Willimantic, passed away on April 11, 2019 at Douglas Manor in Windham Center. Born in Willimantic on February 6, 1927, he was the son of the late Thelma Harris Balcom and Arthur L. Balcom. A World War II Navy veteran, he worked for many years at Pratt and Whitney in East Hartford. He leaves a sister, Norma B. Hawkins, of Brooklyn, CT, two granddaughters and several great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Pauline R. Balcom, and his son, Robert A.
