Rita D. Harrington

Rita Dianna (Dubois) Harrington, 90, of South Windham, died Friday May 4, 2012. She was born in Wauregan on August 17,1921 the daughter of Ernest and Dianna (Guilbeault) Dubois. She was predeceased by her husband of fifty two years Albert E. Harrington. She is survived by a daughter Yvonne White of Newport, North Carolina and three sons, Ted Harrington of South Windham, Tom Harrington and his wife Sue of Storrs and Roy Harrington and his wife Betty Jane of East Hampton; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. She is also survived by a brother Roland Dubois and his wife Margaret, two sisters, Bernadette Brisson and her husband Ernest and Gertrude LaVallee. Rita worked for Electro Motive Manufacturing Co. as well as for Companions and Homemakers of Windham. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday May 8th between 6:00 and 8:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00am at St. Mary Church, Valley St. Willimantic with assembly at the church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
