Rita F. Carbone, 85, of Mansfield Center, CT passed away on December 28, 2022. She was born in Castelbuono, Sicily, Italy to the late Pietro and Conchetta (Ortolano) Fiasconaro. Rita enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters Iva Littlefield and her husband John and Giulietta Bauer and her husband Joseph, brothers Mario Fiasconaro and his wife Eufemia and Salvatore Fiasconaro and his wife Marie, sisters Angela Sylvestri and Anna Fiasconaro, sister-in-law Noemi Fiasconaro, grandchildren Justin and Dylan Boutot, Belinda and David Littlefield, Scott Bauer, and Brook Knuhne and her husband Benny, great grandchildren Isabella Sophia, Antonio, Carter, and Maddox Littlefield.
Rita was predeceased by her husband Antonio Carbone, daughter Angelina Boutot, brother Joseph Fiasconaro and his wife, sisters Vincenza Allegro and her husband Joseph, and Geovani Cicero and her husband Rosario.
Rita’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic, with her burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Rd. in Windham.
