Richard Thornton Reall

Richard T. Reall, 76, of Windham, husband of Beatrice (Bailey) Reall, died Saturday April 2, 2005 in Smithfield, N.C. He was born Feb. 7, 1929 in Providence, R.I. the son of James and Edna (Thornton) Reall. He was a U.S. Army veteran and had been retired from General Dynamics since 1990. Richard was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and a member of both San Jose Council Knight s of Columbus and the Willimantic Elks Lodge #1311. He was an avid sports fan, enjoying golf and the New York Yankees. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter Sheryl Fraser and her husband Thomas of Windham and their children Christopher, Steven, Courtney and Kevin; daughter Cindy White of Franklin and her daughter Carli; bother Robert of Lincoln, R.I. and several nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Wednesday between 5:00 and 8:00pm. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic, with assembly at the church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests memorial donations to the American Lung Assoc. of CT., 45 Ash St. , East Hartford, Ct. 06108-3272.
