Richard Perrin Lange

On November 4, 2018, Richard ?Dick? Perrin Lange passed away peacefully surrounded by his sister and brother. Dick was 73 years old. Dick was born on May 9, 1945 in Patterson, New Jersey, and was the son of Alfred Carl Lange and Virginia Walden Lange. Dick never married, but was blessed with many friends. He was predeceased by his brother Wally Lange (Alice). He is currently survived by his brother, Stephen Lange (Sara), and his sister Dorothy Lange Carto (Jim). Dick loved his nieces, Dorothy Carreno (John), Kimberly Tarke (Adrian) and Laura Lange. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews Emily Carreno, Audrey Carreno, Ryan Carreno, Abbey Carreno, Colin Tarke and Bridget Tarke. Dick attended Windham High School and Windham Technical School. He was a member of the Boy Scouts, and obtained the Order of The Arrow. He was employed at Precision Tool and Dye in Willimantic. Dick was an active member in the community. He was a member of Columbia Congregational Church, the Columbia Lions Club, the Columbia Zoning Board of Appeals, and was also the Columbia Republican Town Committee Treasurer. Dick?s family will receive friends on Thursday, November 8, 2018 between 4 pm and 6 pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte 195) Willimantic, CT with a memorial service on Friday at 11:00 am at Columbia Congregational Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Richard?s memory be given to Columbia Congregational Church, or the Columbia Lions Club. The family would like to thank those who took care of Dick over the many years. His ?Columbia family? was greatly appreciated by his sister and brothers.
